CHELATED MICRONUTRIENTS
Precision trace-element nutrition for modern crop production
| SOIL | FOLIAR | FERTIGATION |
| Root-zone nutrition | Rapid correction | Efficient delivery |
A versatile portfolio of single-element and blended micronutrients based on established chelation chemistry. Designed for agricultural, horticultural and soilless growing programmes.

Why Chelated Micronutrients?
Micronutrients are required in small quantities, but shortages can restrict crop development, quality and yield. Chelation binds a nutrient ion within an organic ligand, helping to keep the nutrient in a soluble and usable form under suitable application conditions.
Efficient nutrient delivery
Chelated forms can improve micronutrient availability and are widely used where iron, zinc, manganese, copper and other trace elements need targeted supplementation.
Flexible application
Products may be selected for soil incorporation, fertigation, hydroponic systems or foliar programmes according to the chelate, crop and growing conditions.
Rapid dissolution
Free-flowing soluble grades are suited to preparation of stock solutions and tank mixes, subject to compatibility testing and the directions on the final product label.
Selecting the right chelate
EDTA is widely used for several micronutrients. DTPA offers stronger iron chelation around neutral to moderately alkaline conditions, while EDDHA-type iron chelates are particularly useful in alkaline and calcareous soils.
Typical Applications

Choosing the Appropriate Chelate
Chelate selection should take account of the target element, crop, growing medium, irrigation water and pH. The table below is a general technical guide rather than a product-use recommendation.
| Chelating system | Typical role | General strengths | Considerations |
| EDTA | Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu and other micronutrients | Versatile; widely used in foliar and fertigation programmes | Performance depends on metal and pH |
| DTPA | Especially iron | Useful around neutral to moderately alkaline conditions and in some hard-water systems | Check formulation-specific stability range |
| EDDHA-type | Iron | High stability for iron in alkaline/calcareous soils | Generally selected for soil/root-zone iron correction |
